Prairie State guitar, rare sunburst finish
Rare indeed is the sunburst found on Larson. August experimented endlessly with finishes, spraying techniques and shading of colors to form somewhat of a sunburst look. He took pride in his temperature and humidity controlled finishing room, trying to maintain a dust free atmosphere! Quite a goal in a turn-of-the-century building. His finishes are still of lasting beauty!
