Family taro patch
This Koa wood beauty was made by Carl for his son Alden, c. 1916. The top had to be replaced in 1979 due to vandalism. The general appearance is the same but the abalone inlay at the end of the neck was originally at the butt end. This same body style was used for ukes bearing various labels.
